Palawan Views Meet Adventure Travel
El Nido offers more than just the typical water activities you see on any island tourist spot. Incredible views of the bay can be found in different forms, most notably on the Las Cabanas Zipline and Taraw Canopy Walk. If you’ve used up most of your time in El Nido and are heading back to Puerto Princesa, don’t fret. The longest zipline on the island is in the Sabang area.
Taraw Canopy Walk
El Nido Taraw via Ferrata Canopy Walk- Take in El Nido’s famous Taraw Cliff in a family friend, safe activity crossing a 75-meter long hanging bridge 30-meters above ground. While many folks expect to go hike all the way to the top of Taraw Cliff this isn’t encouraged at all given the numerous accidents with some leading to deaths. Skip the death hike and take the much safer Canopy Walk. The views are still great and at no risk to your life. Plus it’s a great way to see an view of El Nido’s main town. This can easily be done after an island-hopping tour and is located in town just minutes away from the beach.
Need to know:
P400 per head for the Canopy Walk
P400 per head for the Dreamcatcher
P700 for both
Allow 30-45 minutes for this activity
Safety Warning
Please Note: People have had accidents doing the unsanctioned climb up to Taraw Cliff. We don’t recommend that

Zipline El Nido
Zipline on a 750-meter across the Maremegmeg Beach neighbourhood. This is a great place to be in during sunset but the line can get pretty long. During the rainy season (and other times) the wind may blow against your ziplining direction. It’s not uncommon to see folks get stuck in the middle of the zipline as far as 200 meters away from the end. In cases like this you’ll have to wait until zipline staff come and get you.
Need to know:
P500/600 one-way per head, 30 min.
If you’re coming from town, instead of telling the driver Las Cabanas, let them know you’re going to the zipline. This will save you time and money. If you’re going to be hanging out in the area do the zipline first so you won’t have to walk the entire way up from the beach. Check out the neighborhood guide for a map and more info.
Zipline Puerto Princesa
Heading to Puerto Princesa for the Underground River Tour make it a full day and combine this incredible experience with the Sabang X Zipline, an 800 meter long line starting about 50 meters above sea level. Take in the ocean and mountain views that surround the Sabang area.
Need to know:
650 php per head, 1 hour
