Coffee in El Nido Town
Post-pandemic we’ve seen a lot more coffee spots popping up in town and there’s a great community of folks interested in coffee. Appropriately, L.I.C.K. (Lost Islands Center for Kape), a specialty roastery in El Nido set-up shop to support the coffee community focusing on single origin Philippine coffees, advocating and showcasing the hard work of farmers and producers across the country. If you’re a coffee enthusiasts or just wanted some more knowledge you can create an appointment with Silvester as they’re currently only by appointment through email.

Beachfront Coffee Spots in El Nido
Hama Coffee (Rossana’s Pension)
Hama means oceanside coffee here. Pull up the laptop and grab a cup of Joe at this homey spot. This spot’s got some pretty commanding views of Cadlao Island.
Brew Haha (Entalula Resort)
No frills beachfront located at Entalula Bed & Breakfast- “Gising. Kape. Tawa. Beachfront Coffee Shop in Paradise.”

Blackbird Coffee
The coffee game is now expanding and Blackbird Coffee finds itself the new kids in town across the rock, Taraw Cliff and the Canopy Walk.

Kopi and Bake is great pastry and coffee shop centrally located at Rizal St. Pop in for some bread to take home or for a sip before your island-hopping tour.

Coffee in Maremegmeg Beach
Hayahay Cafe
Hayahay Cafe is strategically located at the end of the Vanilla Beach Complex, near Maremegmeg Beach. The cafe’s decor features beautifully crafted rattan furniture and lamps from Cebu, alongside sinamay woven fabrics and tigbao bamboo shades. This design choice creates an inviting space for a diverse range of visitors. They’ve recently upgraded their space, connected to Starlink, and have turned the space into a co-working space. Yes, they have coffee (and a ton of plant-based options for folks).
Lazy Hammock Cafe
Most folks will walk by this spot and pop in before the beach or make it a point to grab a cup of coffee or ice cream post-sunset session. This cute cafe is filled with hanging chairs, hammocks, and monkey lamps providing a great space for those silly vacation photos tourists like to take.
The Beach Shack
At the end of The Beach Shack there’s a cafe space just before the rocks complete with a beautiful mural by Gringo Grass enjoy coffee with some sweets.

Local favorite for homey Filipino meals, this spot is also great for a cheap cup of coffee.
La Moro Hill Bakery (Lio Beach)
These folks are pretty serious about their coffee. A mix of Islas Makinas migration from Kalye Artisano to the beach and delicious pastries by sourdough queen Yana!

On the run and about to leave El Nido- right after check in on your left side is the CAFE @ Lio Airport.

This yoga studio and cafe has a comfy space for getting some light work done, watching volleyball games, getting in a yoga sesh or just sipping on a cup of coffee with the beach breeze coming through.
