Main town location

Pukka Bar is reggae spot  with a  big post dinner crowd open until late. They’ve got cheap buckets of beer, loud music, and a dance floor full of backpackers! Walking along the beach or on the main road parallel to the beach, you won’t miss this place. Pukka is painted with neon paint up and down its walls. If you’re looking for a quite spot to drink look elsewhere, if you’re wanting a party this is your spot.

Read other travelers’ reviews on Trip Advisor to see how they’re doing. It’s a mixed bag so we’ll let you decide.

Lio Beach

On Lio Beach you’ll see the same monkey with headphones signifying Pukka Bar’s other location. This spot is next to El Nido Grill and is beachfront in the middle part of the commercial line of restaurants and bars. The location is great and for the food assume the typical pub fare.

Hotel

Aside from the nightlight and food business, Pukka Bar also has a hotel, appropriately named Pukka Hotel! They’ve got a small dip pool, poolside bar, and great views of sunset. Located next to Outpost Hostel, they’re in a great spot of the beach, near a good social scene in the Corong-Corong, Lugadia neighborhood.

Lonely Planet describes this spot… “As of the growing Pukka Bar empire, this whitewashed, compact Miami Beach–style hotel on emerging Lugadia Beach is aimed at flashpacker couples. Rooms are small, but beds are huge, and the best rooms have huge glass windows framing Bacuit Bay – quite a scene to wake up to.
