Sailing in El Nido

Sail boat in El Nido

The great thing about sailing is that you can do it all sorts of different conditions.  Light to strong wind is all a go.  No wind, simply motor home. You can start off in El Nido town center, where there is less wind, and then as you move further from the mainland, the wind starts to pick up. Palawan Sailing offers both day courses and multi-day courses, as well as renting sailboats – with or without crew.
You can contact them on their Facebook page facebook.com/bacuit
Or, for a more fun option, head over to Angle Bar after 7pm and ask for Thomas. Thomas is the bar manager and an excellent sailing instructor. Having lived in El Nido for more than 8 years, he is a wealth of information on all things.
