Lio Tourism Estate’s beach has strong winds and nice waves when the wind is coming from the North providing a great space for windsurfing. El Nido Windsurfing run by one of El Nido’s finest, Tani Distal, rents out windsurfing gear and provides lessons. He was the first wind sports enthusiast in El Nido and has recently opened up El Nido Windsurfing as a passion project.
For those in need of activity windsurfing is possible with pretty light winds. If you are beginner, you can book a lesson with anything above 8 knots. You want to check the wind speed and direction. Since Lio Beach is on the west coast, you want to see a northerly wind.
